From a classroom in Olongapo to your morning routine
Quiger wasn’t founded in a boardroom. It was founded in a computer lab, by students who wanted their quiz project to be fun enough that people would actually use it.
The story
It started as homework
In their first semester as fourth year Computer Science students at Gordon College, five classmates built an online quiz program for fellow students. They wanted studying to feel less like a chore and more like a game.
The project won Best Website of the Year at the school. Most class projects end at graduation. This one didn’t. David Veluz, one of the original members, kept building. He reimagined Quiger as a place for anyone, not just students, to exercise their memory, sharpen their thinking and enjoy doing it.
That’s still the whole idea: puzzles worth your time, made by people who love making them.
Our mission
Make mental fitness something you look forward to
We want cognitive fitness to be as normal as a morning walk. Our job is to build puzzles and brain exercises that are challenging, satisfying to solve, and available to everyone. If you finish a Quiger puzzle and immediately want another one, we’ve done our job.
Made for every age
Readable type, clear instructions and adjustable difficulty. Your grandmother and your teenager can both enjoy it, at their own pace.
Fun first, always
Plenty of brain training apps feel like homework. Ours feel like games, because they are games. The health benefit is the bonus, not the sales pitch.
Fresh every day
A new daily challenge keeps the habit alive. Streaks are optional, but people get weirdly competitive about them. We approve.
Handmade puzzles
Real people write and test our puzzles. If a riddle is unfair or a teaser has two answers, we hear about it and fix it.

Meet the team
David Veluz
Puzzle Master & Founder — Cum laude Computer Science graduate and 3D modeling enthusiast. Also a Christian lay leader who mentors young people. He kept Quiger alive after graduation.
Bryne Lance Babasa
Puzzle Creator — One of the original team from the school project days. Cum laude BSCS graduate of Gordon College, and the reason our logic puzzles are pleasantly evil.
Jesse Veluz
Web Designer / Programmer — Over ten years designing and coding websites with PHP, MySQL, WordPress and a soft spot for cartooning. He makes Quiger look and run the way it does.
